Be Our Guest Mom Blogger!

It’s been so long since I did a “regular” blog post.  (I know as if there is one)  I’ve been so busy writing my Busy Mom Tips (which BTW thanks everyone for requesting them) that I have not written an actual post.

Well this one comes right in time (okay so it’s not really a “regular” post).  I’ve had a number of Moms share with me what they do to keep their families on-track and their sanity in-check.  I thought wow; I’d love to have these Moms share their Busy Mom Tips with everyone

So in the spirit of sharing…I’m going to begin accepting posts from guest bloggers who would like to share their own Busy Mom Tips.  This is a new venture for me as I truly enjoy blogging and have not had any guests on my blog.

paper-holding-hands.jpgBut this is also exciting as I get to connect even more Moms with one another.  Now it doesn’t matter how many kids you have or how old your kids are, if you have wisdom to share, we’ll take it!

So what’s in it for you

  • Even more visibility for your business
  • Chance to help other Moms
  • Recognized as a fellow Momprenuer (and you know how we love to support one another)
  • More readers to your blog/visitors to your website
  • Increase in your Social Networking followers, friends, etc.
  • Advanced notice of other opportunities that can help you and your business
  • So much more than I can possibly type here

Okay now here are the rules, you(r)

  • Tip must be between 125 - 140 words
  • Tip(s) must be original (not posted previously on this website)
  • Must include a brief description of you, your business/service, your children’s ages, and a link to your blog/website (no more than 3 short sentences and 1 link)
  • Must include the following permission sentence in your email “I (your name) give Quiana Murray and her assistants permission to use my Busy Mom Tip on her Blog and any other site where her blog is featured and feeds, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, CafeMom, and Ning.”

We reserve the right to edit your tip for grammar and length so don’t worry if you feel like you’re not the best writer.  If you’re game, feel free to email my office at News [@] QuianaMurray.com with your tip and permission sentence.  Please allow at least 1 week for your tip to appear.  Don’t worry we’ll send you an email when you’re scheduled to be posted.

Thanks so much for your interest!

Busy Mom Tip: Drink Your Water

Busy Mom Tip: Drink Your Water.  I know you’ve heard how water is good for you but did you know it actually can improve your mood.  Don’t skimp out on drinking your water.

j0438957.jpgInstead, drink at least 64 oz. a day of room temperature water.  Cold is good but it shocks your system.  Drinking your water room temperature allows you to drink more.

So sure, you don’t want to drink more water, but hey if your kids see you, maybe they’ll want to drink more too!

Busy Mom Tip: Love Thyself

Busy Mom Tip: Love Thyself.  With all your competing responsibilities it’s easy to fall victim to guilt, despair, frustration, and overwhelm.  Don’t let yourself be down.

big-smile-lady.jpgInstead, take time to just relax and realize you’re great just the way you are.  You deserve a pat on the back (and more) for doing one of the hardest jobs there is…without any training (as if that would really help prepare you for everything Motherhood entails).

Take it easy & the next time you’re upset because your kids are eating cereal for dinner, remember you’re human and they love it!

Busy Mom Tip: Eat Theme Meals

Busy Mom Tip:  Eat Theme Meals.  Planning dinner is a headache if you don’t have tons of time.  Don’t try to come up with ideas on the fly each and every day.

j0432809.jpgInstead, pick a theme for each day of the week.  That way you already have an idea what you’re having for dinner when you plan your weekly/monthly meals.  For example, my family loves Mexican food.  So, we pick a certain day of the week (every week) to have Mexican food.

This helps make meal planning fun.  It also exposes children to other cultures and encourages them to try new things!
