Busy Mom Tip: Eat Theme Meals. Planning dinner is a headache if you don’t have tons of time. Don’t try to come up with ideas on the fly each and every day.
Instead, pick a theme for each day of the week. That way you already have an idea what you’re having for dinner when you plan your weekly/monthly meals. For example, my family loves Mexican food. So, we pick a certain day of the week (every week) to have Mexican food.
This helps make meal planning fun. It also exposes children to other cultures and encourages them to try new things!

Great tip! I do this as well plus when my 3 kids were smaller, each got to pick a meal a week and we had one official junk food night to encourage them to eat healthy the other 6 days a week and it worked well.
